چکیده
Abstract. A better understanding of the reasons why hydrological model performance is unsatisfying represents a crucial part meaningful evaluation. However, current evaluation efforts are mostly based on aggregated efficiency measures such as Kling–Gupta (KGE) or Nash–Sutcliffe (NSE). These provide relative gradation performance. Especially in case weak it important to identify different errors which may have caused unsatisfactory predictions. originate from parameters, structure, and/or input data. In order more insight, we define three types be related their source: constant error (e.g. by consistent data precipitation), dynamic structural deficient storage routine) and timing routines/parameters). Based these errors, propose novel diagnostic (DE) measure, accounts for types. The disaggregation DE into its metric terms can visualized plain radial space using polar plots. major advantage this visualization technique that contributions clearly differentiated. proof concept, first generated time series artificially with (i.e. simulations surrogated manipulating observations). By computing plots reproduced could then supply evidence concept. Finally, tested applicability our approach modelling example. For particular catchment, compared streamflow realized parameter sets observed streamflow. example, plot suggests explain overall large extent. proposed provides tool developers users facilitates interpretation measure well similar well-established hydrology.

Performance Evaluation of Oily Waste Treatment Ways (TECHNICAL NOTE)
On the basis of key ways of oily waste treatment in Russia which has been described in the article and on the example of oil-contaminated soil (OCS) treatment there can be considered two most widespread technologies: bioremediation and thermal recovery. We developed the process flow sheet of the equipment (UT-2S) for industrial oily wastes treatment on the basis of high temperature air tight de...

Technical Efficiency Evaluation: Naturally Dual!
We provide a dual perspective on technical efficiency evaluation, in two respects. First, we build on the price assumptions implicitly associated with the notion of technical efficiency in a general equilibrium framework to characterize a set of appropriate references to be used in the technical efficiency evaluation of an inputoutput vector. Some existing evaluation methods always select an el...
متن کاملInitial clinical evaluation of a wheelchair ergometer for diagnostic exercise testing: a technical note.
The purpose of this initial study was to evaluate a new wheelchair ergometer (WCE) and exercise test protocol for the detection of coronary artery disease in men with lower limb disabilities. Forty-nine patients (63 +/- 9 yr) completed WCE tests without complications. Peak heart rate was 84 +/- 15% (mean +/- SD) of age-predicted maximum and peak double product was 223 +/- 62 x 10(2). The specif...
متن کاملguidelines for evaluation of center pivot irrigation system performance (technical note)
evaluation of any irrigation system consists of analyzing the measurable performance of the system in real conditions as well as during the normal operation of the farm. irrigation evaluation is a management tool that allows the system manager to make the best use of what is available. unfortunately, in most regions of iran, after the implementation of irrigation systems their performance is no...
